Ørsted wants all suppliers to use 100% renewable power by 2025
Aug 10, 2022 18:04 CESTSeptember 3 (Renewables Now) - Southeast Asian firm Modern Energy Management (MEM) will deliver operation asset management support for the 39.37-MW Dam Nai wind farm in Vietnam.
MEM was selected by Norwegian green power producer Scatec ASA (OSL:SCATC) in order to optimise operations and revenue for the wind power asset, it announced on Thursday.
Dam Nai was acquired by Scatec in late January 2021, with MEM providing the original acquisition due diligence.
Located in Ninh Thuan province, the wind farm consists of 15 Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (BME:SGRE) wind turbines. Operational since 2017 under a 20-year feed-in tariff (FiT), Dam Nai has an annual power generation of 123 GWh, the company says on its website.
As power demand in Vietnam is expected to double by 2030, the country targets 11 GW of installed wind power capacity by the end of the decade.
