May 20 (Renewables Now) - Swedish marine energy developer Minesto AB is looking to “intensify” its relationships with institutional investors and for this reason is teaming up with Norwegian financial advisor Pareto Securities.

As part of this new collaboration, the Oslo-based investment bank will take care of Minesto’s relationships with institutional investors, while the company itself will continue to drive processes related to public grants.

Minesto said in a statement today that its new partnership will step up and capitalise the commercial rollout of its renewable energy technology, called Deep Green.

Last year, Minesto deployed its first commercial-scale marine energy kite at the Holyhead Deep site off the coast of North Wales, and generated first power in October.
