Rise Light & Power proposes 3.9-GW offshore wind interconnection in NYC
Aug 17, 2022 17:23 CESTJanuary 6 (Renewables Now) - Luminace Holdings LLC, the North American distributed energy business of Brookfield Renewable Partners LP (NYSE:BEP), has teamed up with Shoals Technologies Group Inc (NASDAQ:SHLS) to develop distributed renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) charging projects in the US.
The duo on Wednesday announced a strategic agreement to start offering development, operational and technical solutions at no upfront cost to the customer. The two companies will bet on Luminace’s platform to provide distributed energy solutions to commercial, industrial and public sector clients and Shoals’ position in the electrical balance of system (EBOS) market.
Shoals is a provider of EBOS products for solar, battery storage and EV charging infrastructure. Luminance has a development portfolio of over 4 GW of distributed energy resources.
“This collaboration combines the best of Luminace’s high-quality distributed generation platform and Shoals’ leading-edge eMobility solutions to provide comprehensive EV charging, solar, storage and energy efficiency solutions,” said Valerie Hannah, CEO of Luminace. Meanwhile, Jeff Tolnar, senior vice president of eMobility at Shoals added that the partnership has the “depth and breadth” to advance the growth of the eMobility market.
