LamdaGen, Biodico team up on bioenergy research

Sep 25, 2012 - US nano-technology platform company LamdaGen Corp and biofuels firm Biodico Inc have agreed to partner in research and development (R&D) programmes for biomass-based diesel, combined heat and power (CHP) and biochemicals.

Under the agreement, LamdaGen's nano-based Meta-Catalytic Surface (MCS) technology will be integrated into Biodico's R&D programmes, LamdaGen said in a statement today.

Besides, LamdaGen technologies will be integrated in Biodico's current R&D programmes. Among the fruits of these programmes is the automated real-time, remote, integrated energy system (ARIES) technology, developer under a cooperative R&D agreement with the US Navy.

LamdaGen provides functional nanomaterials supporting catalytic application in clean technologies and energy sectors as well as sensors and analytical systems for protein sciences and diagnostics.
