KTG Energie aims at higher 2013 revenue on biogas boom - report
Aug 28, 2013 - German renewable energy company KTG Energie (ETR:KB7) will aim at achieving 47% rise in revenue to EUR 50 million (USD 66.8m) for the full 2013 through new biogas power plants, German daily Boersen-Zeitung said yesterday.
The subsidiary of agricultural producer KTG Agrar aims to have 50 MW in capacity until 2015 via new biogas plants and optimising existing ones.
KTG Energie builds and operates biogas power plants in Germany since 2006. The company currently operates 12 biogas facilities with a total capacity of 35 MW, resulting in a EUR 31.6 million revenue and a EUR 6 million profit in 2012.
The company also contributes to the business of its parent KTG Agrar, which is using the residual materials from the biogas plants for the making of agricultural products.
