October 20 (Renewables Now) - German renewables developer Juwi AG was awarded nine projects for onshore wind parks in Germany with a combined capacity of 77 MW in the Federal Network Agency's tender with a deadline of September 1.
All nine proposals featuring 18 turbines were very close to the average, volume-weighted value in the tender which stood at EUR 0.058 (USD 0.068) per kWh, Juwi said on Tuesday. Further details about the projects were not disclosed.
As many as 166 projects totalling 1.49 GW were selected in the latest onshore wind tender. This was the first oversubscribed onshore wind auction since December 2020, attracting 210 projects with a combined capacity of 1.82 GW.
The next tender for onshore wind power in Germany will take place on February 1, 2022.
