Sep 25, 2012 - Japanese power wholesaler Electric Power Development Co Ltd (TYO:9513), or J-Power, on Friday said it had started construction of a 20-MW wind farm in western Japan's Ehime Prefecture.
The nine-turbine wind farm is expected to cost JPY 7 billion (USD 90m/EUR 70m).
The project, the company's 19th wind power facility at home, is scheduled to become operational in September 2014. J-Power will sell the output to Shikoku Electric Power Co (TYO:9507).
