Italy's Falck Renewables submits cap hike information prospectus

(ADPnews) – Dec 6, 2010 – Italian renewable energy company Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR), formerly Actelios SpA, announced it had submitted to market regulator Consob the information prospectus about an option offer and listing of 94,216,607 new-issue shares.
The stock issue is in line with the partial proportional spin-off of Falck Energy SpA, and with the contribution to the company of the 18.82% stake in Falck Renewables Plc held by minority shareholders.
The shares will be issued under the capital increase of EUR 130 million (USD 173.7m) approved by the board of directors on December 2, 2010. The capital hike will be carried out via the issue of 130 million ordinary Falck Renewables shares of EUR-1.00 nominal value, bearing the same characteristics as the ordinary stock in circulation as at the issue date.
