Incbio to build biofuel plant for Norwegian N3Pharma

(SeeNews) - Jun 19, 2012 - Biodiesel plants builder Incbio, part of Portuguese Incalculavel, yesterday said it had won an order to supply a turnkey transesterification facility to Norwegian pharmaceutical and nutraceutical firm N3Pharma AS.

The company got the job after a competitive tendering process.

As part of the contract, Incbio is to design and build a plant that would be capable of transesterifying 10,000 tonnes per year of fish oil with ethanol (ethylation). It is to be completed by the end of the current year. The facility, to also include excess ethanol recovery, will be installed by Incbio in Tromso, Norway.
