(SeeNews) - Mar 21, 2014 - Spanish power utility Iberdrola (MCE:IBE) produced 5,005 GWh of electricity in the northern region of Galicia in 2013, which accounted for 8.62% of the company's total output in the country. <br /> <br /> Iberdrola's wind farms in Galicia produced 1,735 GWh, while hydropower output stood at 3,270 GWh, daily Expansion said yesterday. <br /> <br /> The figures for 2013 do not include the output of the San Estevo II hydropower plant, which was operating under a test regime until February 27, 2013. <br /> <br /> The entire output of San Estevo II will be included in the electricity mix this year. Also, Iberdrola plans to invest EUR 52 million (USD 71.7m) to increase the capacity of the San Pedro II plant by 25 MW.
