Nov 30, 2011 - US Greenleaf Biofuels LLC said today that Tenaska BioFuels LLC would supply feedstock to and sell the biodiesel produced at Greenleaf's plant in Connecticut under a multi-year agreement.
Greenleaf recently secured full project funding for the multi-feedstock biofuel project. The facility will have an initial capacity of 10 million gallon (39m litre) per year and will be located in the Port of New Haven, Connecticut.
The contract with Tenaska covers the plant's full capacity with an option to expand the partnership.
Tenaska BioFuels is an affiliate of independent energy company Tenaska, which is among the largest privately-held firms in the US, Greenleaf said.
