July 28 (SeeNews) - Greencoat UK Wind Plc (LON:UKW) recorded an increase in net asset value (NAV) per share, excluding dividend payments, to GBP 1.026 (USD 1.601/EUR 1.447) from GBP 1.024 over the first six months of 2015.<br /> <br /> The UK fund said on Tuesday the "relatively weak NAV growth" was due to lower forecast power prices and the UK government's announcement that the Climate Change Levy exemption for renewable electricity will be removed from August 1, 2015. Total NAV was GBP 480.8 million at the end of June, down from GBP 486.2 million at the end of December 2014.<br /> <br /> The fund generated GBP 29.2 million of net cash in the period. Its portfolio produced 408 GWh of electricity, 10% above budget thanks to favourable wind conditions.
