Global Clean Energy, MicroEnergies form pyrolysis JV

Dec 12, 2012 - US waste-to-energy company Global Clean Energy Inc (PINK:GCEI) on Tuesday said it had entered a joint venture with alternative energy firm MicroEnergies LLC to develop waste-to-energy projects based on pyrolysis.

The projects will use pyrolysis gasification to deconstruct waste tires and waste plastics into high value carbon and fuel vie a process that does not harm the environment.

MicroEnergies will ensure the technology and feedstock agreements for the joint initiatives and will manage current and future developments in the project development unit of Global Clean Energy.

The joint venture deal will enable MicroEnergies to launch pyrolysis activities next year, the company's president Steven Mann said.
