Germany's Senvion installs 285 MW of wind at home in H1 2015

German wind turbine maker Senvion GmbH has installed more than 285 MW of wind capacity in its home market over the first six months of 2015 and thus ranked second in the country.
The company has erected a total of 100 turbines of all available types in January-June 2015, it said in a press release on Thursday. Overall, Senvion has installed more than 3,600 MW of wind turbines in Germany since its inception.
At the start of July, Senvion posted revenues of nearly EUR 1.93 billion (USD 2.14bn) for its fiscal year 2014/15, which ended on March 31, or 6.6% more than a year earlier. The company delivered and installed 683 turbines with a total capacity of over 1.8 GW in 12 countries in the fiscal year.
