September 20 (Renewables Now) - German renewables developer Enertrag AG said on Tuesday that it has inaugurated its 186-MW wind farm in Poland.
The complex is made up of two sub-projects, the 133-MW Dargikowo and the 53-MW Karlino field, which together will generate 600 GWh of power per year.
Located near the city of Koszalin in northwestern Poland, Dunowo is Enertrag’s largest project to date and one of the largest wind farms in Poland, the company said.
Enertrag is currently working on a 36-MW wind farm project that will function as an extension of Dunowo. That project is backed by a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with telecommunications company Orange Polska SA (WSE:OPL) that the German firm signed earlier this year.
