German Nordex to equip Finnish Nyby-li wind farm

Aug 19, 2013 - German wind-turbine maker Nordex (ETR:NDX1) said Monday it would implement another project under the framework agreement with Finnish wealth management company Taaleritehdas from June 2012 for 111 turbines in total.

Nordex will now supply and install eight N117/2400 multi-megawatt turbines for the Nyby-li wind farm that will produce 78 GWh of power. The farm is located in the Ii region in north-western Finland.

Nordex will also open a second service point in Finland to service the turbines. The first one is located close to the Honkajoki wind farm in south-western Finland -- the first project under the framework agreement.
