German Capital Stage exits RENIXX World

Oct 28, 2013 - German wind and solar park investor Capital Stage AG (ETR:CAP) will no longer be included in the global stock index for the renewable energy industry RENIXX World, German renewable energy institute IWR said today.

Capital Stage has been removed from the index after Norway's Renewable Energy Corp ASA (OSL:REC) completed the separation of its solar operations in a new venture in October. REC now comprises of two separate listed companies REC Solar ASA and REC Silicon. Thus the firms in the global index became 31.

RENIXX World embodies the world's 30 largest companies with more than 50% of their revenues coming from renewable energy. The index is calculated based on the highest market capitalization of the free float and is published by IWR.

Capital Stage entered the index in January 2013.
