Oct 3, 2013 - Spanish company Gamesa (MCE:GAM) said today it will supply three G128-5.0 MW wind turbines to TuuliWatti Oy, a joint venture between Finnish energy firm St1 Oy and retail cooperative S-Group.
Under the terms of the contract, Gamesa will install the turbines at a wind farm in Salo in the southern part of the country and carry out operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of ten years.
The delivery of these 15 MW of turbines, to be made during the course of 2014, is part of a framework deal from 2012 for the supply of total of 135 MW. Gamesa has already provided 18 MW for the Simo wind project and will deliver 54 MW to the Pori wind farm as well as 36 MW to the Tornio installation this and next year.
The commissioning of the Salo wind farm is scheduled for the end of 2014.
