Gamesa to deliver 285 MW turbines to TuuliWatti in Finland
Nov 6, 2013 - Spanish wind turbine maker Gamesa (MCE:GAM) signed today a framework agreement for the supply of up to 285 MW of its 5-MW turbines for TuuliWatti Ltd, the wind energy joint venture between Finnish St1 Ltd and retail cooperative S-Group.
The agreement also envisages the potential supply of up to 575 MW turbines, from the G128 and G132 models in 2015 and 2016. The deliveries are earmarked for several local wind farms planned for construction by TuuliWatti, Gamesa said.
The Spanish company will also provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years.
This agreement is the second one signed between Gamesa and TuuliWatti. Both companies reached a master agreement at the end of 2012 for the supply of 135 MW.
