(ADPnews) - Sep 9, 2010 - Spanish wind energy company Gamesa (MCE:GAM) sold six wind farms with combined installed capacity of 45.05 MW to Swedish furniture retailer Ikea in Germany, Gamesa said yesterday.
The facilities are in Lower Saxony, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, in northwestern and southwestern Germany, respectively.
Gamesa has developed, built and put into operation more than 190 MW of wind assets in Germany since 2003. Its current project portfolio in the country consists of over 500 MW at different stages of development.
Gamesa has more than 3,500 MW installed and 22,000 MW wind farm portfolio at varying stages of development in Europe, America and Asia. The company's annual production capacity is 4,400 MW.
