June 21 - Following an EU tender against international competition, a consortium consisting of Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG and SeaRenergy Offshore Holding GmbH & Cie. KG has been awarded a contract by TenneT covering design reviews for checking, commenting on and approving designs and documents within the scope of a project to deliver and construct the offshore HVDC converter platform BorWin5. This involves checking and documenting project parameters to ensure their compliance with contractual requirements and the client’s technical specifications, checking the feasibility of the transport and installation concept with regard to international norms, standards and regulations, and checking and approving the “as-built” documentation.
