(ADPnews) - Nov 24, 2010 - Spanish renewable energy group Fersa Energias Renovables SA (MCE:FRS) said yesterday it had secured a EUR-160-million (USD 216.9m) funding from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for its wind energy projects.
According to Fersa, the credit line will strongly step up the implementation of its strategic plan.
The EIB will grant the loan in two tranches. Initially, Fersa will get EUR 50 million for a period of 10 years and a two-year grace period. The remaining EUR 110 million will be awarded for 17 years and a three-year grace period.
