July 24 (Renewables Now) - Falck Renewables SpA (BIT:FKR) said today that a fully-owned unit has agreed to take over Italian wind power-focused technical advisory services provider Windfor Srl.

Vector Cuatro Srl will buy 100% of this business for EUR 0.625 million (USD 0.730m), according to the press statement. The transaction is expected to close by September 2018.

The purchase will beef up Vector Cuatro’s offerings in technical advisory services for onshore wind farms. To date, Windfor has analysed more than 17 GW of wind parks, performed due diligence for 9 GW and delivered advisory services for 18 GW of projects, both in Italy and abroad.

The business being acquired has also developed advanced proprietary software for anemology analysis.
