October 1 (Renewables Now) - Japan’s Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation and Dutch wind project developer Yard Energy Group have reached financial close for 155 MW of wind projects in the Netherlands, it was announced today.
In all, the companies are developing three wind parks in the province of Groningen. Eurus had previously acquired the projects from Yard, which will remain a minority shareholder in the portfolio while also managing the construction process.

Dutch utility Eneco will purchase the plants' output. Scheduled to come online by 2021, the wind power facilities are expected to generate enough electricity to meet the annual demand of some 200,000 households.
