(ADPnews) - Oct 21, 2010 - German green fuel producer EOP Biodiesel AG (ETR:E2B) halted biodiesel production for the time being, the company said on Wednesday.
The reason is a failure at the oil mill, which converts rapeseed into rapeseed oil.
As a result, the company will not be able to meet its delivery obligations. It is still not clear when the facility will be operational again.
Up until now, EOP Biodiesel has been producing more than 400,000 litres (105,700 gallons) of biodiesel per day.
