EnXco Service strikes O&M deal for 477 MW wind capacity
Dec 7, 2011 - EnXco Service Corp yesterday said it had agreed a multi-year deal to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for four wind farms in the US state of Iowa with a combined capacity of 477 MW.
EnXco Service, part of French EDF Energies Nouvelles, won the job from Iowa utility MidAmerican Energy Co after a competitive tender process. The agreement will see it operate and maintain the 150-MW Carroll Wind Farm, the 75-MW Charles City Wind Farm, the 99-MW Victory Wind Farm and the 153-MW Walnut Wind Farm.
All four projects use General Electric Co's 1.5-MW SLE wind turbines.
EnXco Service says it supplies O&M services to 4,800 MW of wind power capacity across the US.
