enXco seals O&M contract for 60 MW wind project in USA
(ADPnews) - Oct 11, 2010 - enXco Inc, a unit of French renewable energy company EDF Energies Nouvelles (EPA:EEN), said Thursday it had nabbed a 10-year contract to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services to Gestamp Renewables's Flat Water Wind Farm.
The wind project, located in Richardson county in Nebraska, includes 40 GE turbines with a total capacity of 60 MW. Construction kicked off in the spring of 2010 and the plant is to come on stream this December. In addition to O&M services, enXco will provide commissioning assistance while construction is in progress and remote monitoring of all wind turbines.
The company is currently providing O&M services to over 5,200 wind turbines around the US, catering for 4,600 MW of wind power.
