Envitec Biogas shareholders approve EUR 1 p/s special dividend for 2012

(SeeNews) – Jun 28, 2013 - German biogas plants maker Envitec Biogas AG (ETR:ETG) said yesterday its shareholders approved the distribution of a special dividend of EUR 1 (USD 1.3) per eligible share for 2012.

Around 85% of the share capital was represented at the annual meeting yesterday.

In 2012, Envitec generated a sales drop to EUR 190.5 million (USD 249m), compared with EUR 243.9 million in 2011, due to the 80% drop in demand for biogas in Germany.

The company's net profit tumbled to EUR 1.2 million from EUR 7.5 million.

However, the company yesterday affirmed its forecast for 2013 for sales of between EUR 140 million and EUR 160 million.
