Nov 25, 2013 - German wind park developer Eno Energy GmbH said on Friday it is currently constructing a 26.4 MW wind park in the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and has signed a letter of intent for the turnkey sale of wind farms with a capacity of 30 MW.
The name of the energy provider purchasing the wind parks remained undisclosed. The first one of them is located in Saxony-Anhalt and consists of three 2.05 MW wind turbines, which have already been installed, the company added.
The wind park in the Staebelow municipality, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, will strengthen Eno Energy's own portfolio. The facility will consist of twelve of Eno's wind turbines with a capacity of 2.2 MW each. The construction of five turbines will be completed by the end of the year and another seven will be installed in 2014. A single turbine of the type 92 can produce up to 6 GWh of electricity per year, enough to power 1,700 households, the company said.
