February 19 (SeeNews) – Italy-based Engie EPS (EPA:EPS), the energy storage division of French utility Engie (EPA:ENGI), and Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler, part of newly-formed Amsterdam-based conglomerate Stellantis NV (EPA:STLA), have sought approval from the European Commission (EC) to form a joint venture dedicated to electric vehicles (EV) technology.
