November 26 (Renewables Now) - French energy group Engie SA (EPA:ENGI) plans to sell down its interest in the 119-MW Willogoleche wind farm it built in South Australia earlier this year, The Australian reported, without unveiling its sources.

According to the report, Engie is rumoured to have hired one of Natixis, Credit Agricole or BNP Paribas to advise the company on the planned transaction.

The newspaper added that Engie intends to also obtain funds from a party to reinvest in future opportunities.

The French company built the Willogoleche wind park near Hallett alongside joint venture partner Mitsui & Co Ltd (TYO:8031) of Japan. The plant, which comprises 32 GE turbines, was officially opened in late July.
