Enea to start acquisitions of 100 MW of wind farms in 2013 - report
Nov 23, 2012 - Polish electric utility Enea (WAR:ENA) will start acquiring at least 100 MW of wind farms in 2013, the company's vice president Krzysztof Zborowski told PAP yesterday.
The company will also invest tens of millions of Zloty in shale gas exploration next year as well as more than PLN 1 billion (USD 313m/EUR 243m) in the construction of a new coal-fired power units at the Kozienice power complex in central Poland, PAP said, citing Zborowski.
The Kozienice power complex consists of 10 units with total capacity of 2,908 MW. On Wednesday, Enea celebrated the start of the construction of a new 1,075-MW coal-fired unit at the complex, with expected completion in 2017.
