Aug 16, 2022 11:35 CESTFebruary 25 (Renewables Now) - Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME:ELE) said on Thursday it has expanded its energy supply agreement with public car park operator Parkia, now covering 6.2 GWh of renewable electricity per year.
Over the next three years, Endesa will supply 100% renewable power with guarantees of origin to all 70 public car parks its client has in Spain. The original supply agreement was signed two years ago.

Through this deal, Endesa will help Parkia's Spanish car lots to avoid more than 1,550 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually.
In addition to the renewable energy supply deal, Endesa, through its energy solutions outfit Endesa X, has an existing electric mobility partnership with Parkia. The Spanish utility has 127 operational charging points for electric vehicles at Parkia car parks.
Endesa expects 92% of the company's peninsular production to be free of CO2 emissions by 2024.
