PV tower developer Three Sixty Solar debuts on Canadian bourse
Aug 15, 2022 17:20 CESTFebruary 14 (Renewables Now) - Israel’s Ecoppia Scientific Ltd (TLV:ECPA), a provider of solar panel cleaning robots, will supply its robots to another project of Sprng Energy, an Indian renewable energy platform owned by investment firm Actis.
The cloud-based, water-free robots, which remove soil from solar panels on a daily basis, will be installed at the 150-MW Ananthapuram project of Sprng Solar in Andhra Pradesh in the second quarter of 2022, the Israeli company said last week.
Ecoppia has been the exclusive robotic cleaning solution provider for all greenfield solar projects developed by Actis platforms in India since 2017.
It pointed out that during the over 150 days of national lockdown in India in 2020 and 2021, none of its sites, totalling more than 2 GW, experienced any cleaning interruptions.
The company says it has more than 3 GW of deployed projects around the world and over 16 GW of agreements.
