EBRD to provide EUR 90m for sustainable energy projects in Slovakia

(ADPnews) - Nov 23, 2010 -The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) this year will provide a total of EUR 90 million (USD 122m) to support energy efficiency and green power projects in Slovakia, local news agency SITA reported yesterday.

Within the Slovsef II credit line, EBRD will allocate some EUR 72 million for renewable energy projects and the housing sector, and EUR 18 million for energy efficiency projects in the industry sector.

The EBRD has approved 65 projects in the Slovak housing sector, and has already provided half of the approved EUR 90 million funding.
