September 6 (Renewables Now) - Denmark will hold a meeting on November 25 with potential investors and bidders in the tender for the Thor offshore wind park, which is to be built off the Nissum Fjord with a planned capacity of around 800 MW.

The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) and transmission system operator (TSO) Energinet will hold the market dialogue as they seek to prepare for the tender so that it attracts the lowest possible bids. Input will be sought from potential bidders and investors on the future framework and tender conditions. The market dialogue will focus on the timetable for the tendering process, pre-qualification conditions, award criteria, grid connection issues and the environmental assessment.

The full programme for the meeting will be published by the end of September and interested parties will be able to register for the market dialogue by November 11. Potential bidders will also be able to arrange bilateral meetings “of a more confidential nature” with the Thor team between November 26 and November 29.
