July 17 (Renewables Now) - Dandelion Energy Inc said today it has partnered with Pro-Temp Mechanical to offer its home geothermal systems to customers in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and other parts of Western New York.

The residential geothermal startup has agreed for Pro-Temp Mechanical, a full service heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company, to take care of the site survey, system design, installation and long-term maintenance of Dandelion systems in the region.

Each Dandelion installation consists of the recently launched Dandelion Air heat pump, underground pipes, a buffer tank for hot water, a Nest Learning Thermostat and a smart monitoring system.

Last month, Dandelion selected American Heating & Cooling to be an installation partner. AAON Inc (NASDAQ:AAON) was previously chosen as the manufacturing partner for the Dandelion Air.
