Sep 4, 2012 - The European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) said Monday it was in search of a new CEO as Christian Kjaer was stepping down from April 2013.
Kjaer has been at the helm of the organisation for six years now. Before that, between 2003 and 2006, he was EWEA’s policy head. Earlier in his career, he has been part of the Danish Wind Industry Association and domestic newspaper Berlingske Tidende.
"It will be time for me to move on to something new and, currently, undefined," he said, adding that he had given such an early notice so as to help EWEA prepare an effective transition.
EWEA hopes to find a replacement by end-2012 in order to give the new CEO more time with Kjaer.
