(ADPnews) - Nov 25, 2010 - Wind turbine maker China Ming Yang Wind Power Group (NYSE:MY) said yesterday it will supply 200 MW of wind turbines to an offshore wind project in the Beibu Gulf, under a co-operation intention agreement signed with a domestic power producer.
The company did not provide any details on the deal, nor on the project developer.
The construction of the wind farm is seen to kick off in 2011, after the companies sign a definitive agreement. The project is being developed under the China 1GW Offshore Wind Farm Concession, announced a month ago. Ming Yang is among the few qualified turbine makers that will take part in the concession.
