June 7 (Renewables Now) - Castleton Commodities Intl LLC (CCI) has completed the acquisition of a 150-MW wind farm in the state of Texas, the energy commodity merchant announced on Thursday.

The acquisition of project vehicle Sherbino I Wind Farm LLC became effective on May 31, 2019. Financial detail about the transaction and the name of the seller were not provided.

The 150-MW wind farm is located in Texas' Pecos County and sells its output to The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), a local electric grid operator.

Following the acquisition, CCI has almost 3,600 MW of power generation assets in the US and Europe that it either owns and/or manages. Its legal advisor in the latest deal was Mercer Thompson, while Guggenheim Securities LLC served as its financial counsel.
