Canadian independent power producer Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (TSE:CSE-A) and its partner Sawridge First Nation have secured a power purchase agreement (PPA) for two wind farms with a combined nameplate capacity of 26 MW that are being built in Canada.
The 15-year contract was signed with Gibson Energy Inc (TSX:GEI) and concerns the Buffalo Atlee 2 and 4 wind farm projects near Jenner, Alberta. The local midstream oilfield service company will purchase power and environmental attributes from the projects, it said in a statement on Thursday.
