Switzerland-based private asset manager Capital Dynamics has started commercial operations at six onshore wind farms totalling 179.1 MW since the beginning of 2015.
Five of the projects with a combined capacity of 29.1 MW are located in the UK, and one is in the US.
In Texas, the asset manager has recently brought online the first 150-MW phase of its 300-MW Green Pastures wind project in cooperation with Pioneer Green Energy. The second phase of the project is expected to start operations later in 2015.
Capital Dynamics has partnered with Airvolution Energy and Futurespectrum for the UK projects -- the Garlenick, Daintree, East Youlstone, Tod Hill and Torrance wind farms.
"These projects are all examples of our focus on mid-market, contracted power assets and bringing those from late stage development to commercial operation, in order to generate enhanced returns versus core infrastructure assets," said Capital Dynamics managing director John Breckenridge.
Through its Global Clean Energy & Infrastructure Fund, the firm has acquired rights or invested in 1,464 MW of clean energy capacity in North America and the UK.
