Canadian Brookfield Renewable Power to sell CAD 450m notes
(ADPnews) - Oct 11, 2010 - Canadian Brookfield Renewable Power Inc said late on Thursday it would sell CAD 450 million (USD 443m/EUR 318m) in 10-year notes to redeem its 2012 medium-term notes and for general corporate purposes.
The notes, which mature on October 13, 2020, will bear a 5.14% annual coupon. The 2012 notes carry a coupon rate of 8.75%.
CIBC World Markets Inc and Scotia Capital Inc acted as lead placing agents of the issue, which is to close on October 13. The notes have been rated at BBB with stable outlook by Standard & Poor's, Fitch Ratings Ltd and DBRS Ltd.
