Canada's Boralex names new CFO

December 13 (Renewables Now) - Canadian renewables developer Boralex Inc (TSE:BLX) announced on Wednesday that Bruno Guilmette will become the company’s new vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) on January 14, 2019.

Guilmette will replace Jean-Francois Thibodeau who will be retiring at end-March after 15 years of service as Boralex’s finance head. The company said it expects a smooth transition until the retirement of Thibodeau.

The new CFO served as interim chief investment officer at the Canada Infrastructure Bank until recently and before that acted as senior vice president of infrastructure investments at PSP Investments. He also held the position of senior director of private equity investments at the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec.

Guilmette will continue to be on the board of directors of the Canada Infrastructure Bank after his arrival at Boralex.
