(ADPnews) - Dec 3, 2010 - The new law on renewable energy will be submitted for approval to the Bulgarian Council of Ministers by the end of this year and will enter Parliament by March 2011, it became clear at a solar energy forum in Sofia.
The news was broken by Vladimir Karolev, managing partner of investment advisory firm BAC Ltd at a solar power conference organised by EastEuro Link in Sofia today.
"Senior policy makers have assured us they are really into providing a good investment environment," Nikola Gazdov, chairman of the Bulgarian Photovoltaic Association, confirmed.
"There are some things to bear in mind -- Bulgaria has to meet certain obligations under the EU 20/20/20 targets and in terms of investment -- to add value and create jobs," Gazdov added.
