Brookfield Asset Management offers senior notes for CAD 350m
(ADPnews) - Oct 21, 2010 - Canadian green power and infrastructure assets manager Brookfield Asset Management Inc (TSE:BAM.A) said Thursday it was selling CAD 350 million (USD 343m/EUR 245m) in senior notes due 2021, to refinance existing debts and for general corporate purposes.
The notes, which mature on March 1, 2021, have a yield of 5.3%. They carry a Baa2 rating with a stable outlook by Moody's, a A- rating with a negative outlook by Standard & Poor's, a BBB recommendation with a stable outlook by Fitch and an A low rating with a stable outlook by DBRS.
CIBC World Markets Inc, RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc acted as lead placement agents of the offering.
