Long-duration storage firm Energy Dome secures USD 11m in bridge funding round
Jun 30, 2022 15:00 CEST(SeeNews) - Mar 8, 2013 - Brazilian sugar and ethanol mill Paraiso plans to produce as much as 150 million litres (39.6m gallons) of ethanol in the 2013/2014 crop year, set to start on April 1.
The mill, located in the Brotas municipality of southeastern Sao Paulo state, however anticipated the start of the crop by commencing sugar cane crushing yesterday.
The unit will strive to process 2.3 million tonnes of sugar cane in 2013/14. It will use 50% of the raw material for ethanol production and the rest will go for the manufacturing of sugar.
The mill will close the current 2012/2013 crop year with a total 1.98 million tonnes of crushed sugar cane.
