Oil and gas groups BP Plc (<a href="https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/BP./bp-plc/company-page" target="_blank">LON:BP</a>), TotalEnergies SE (<a href="https://live.euronext.com/en/product/equities/FR0000120271-XPAR" target="_blank">EPA:TTE</a>), Shell plc (<a href="https://www.londonstockexchange.com/stock/SHEL/shell-plc/company-page" target="_blank">LON:SHELL</a>) and Equinor ASA (<a href="https://live.euronext.com/en/product/equities/NO0010096985-XOSL" target="_blank">OSE:EQNR</a>) on Friday committed to jointly invest USD 500 million (EUR 475m) in the coming years in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 7, which seeks to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
