Boralex names new VP and COO, hires former Vestas manager

Canadian renewables developer Boralex Inc (TSE:BLX) announced today that, starting in July 2019, Patrick Decostre will become the company’s Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Decostre has been Vice President and General Manager of Boralex Europe for more than three years now. He will be replaced in that position by Nicolas Wolff, a former manager of Vestas Western Mediterranean, as from April 29, 2019. Based in Lyon, Wolff will be tasked with supporting the expansion of Boralex’s European business.

Patrick Lemaire, president and CEO of Boralex, explained that the company has decided to create the Vice-President and COO position within senior management in order to deal with new challenges associated with its present and future growth.
