July 2 (Renewables Now) - Norwegian maritime and energy group Bonheur ASA (OSL:BON) has raised NOK 700 million (USD 81.2m/EUR 68.5m) by successfully completing an oversubscribed issue of new senior unsecured green bonds due in July 2026.

The bonds will pay a coupon of 3 months NIBOR + 2.90% per annum, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. DNB Markets and Pareto Securities served as joint lead managers.

Bonheur intends to use the proceeds to finance green projects as further defined by its Green Finance Framework. According to the framework, this may include investments in renewable energy projects or in offshore wind turbine transportation and installation vessels and related equipment.

The group invests in renewables through Fred. Olsen Renewables and provides logistics, installation and expert services through Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, Global Wind Service and United Wind Logistics. It is also the parent of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
